The drive back to the states for Aiden's spring break is a 2000 mile four day trip. It takes me through some of the most beautiful deserts and mountains in Mexico. In Saltillo the highway elevation is 7200 feet, and the surrounding mountains are still huge. North from Saltillo to Monterrey the huge mountains turn to solid granite. Leaving Ajijic at 6:30 AM and drive with the widows down in the great weather until outside of San Antonio, Texas. I was shocked when the lovely weather changed to flakes of snow in Mississippi.

A Perez birthday party for the girls, Lienzo Charro rodeo type competition, photos in Chapala when the lake was way down. Appears someone made a runway on the dry sandly beach.

The colonial section of Guadalajara with it's amazing buildings, plazas, and things to see. Tonala a part of Guadalajara and the crafts center for anything you have ever dreamed of. The streets of Ajijic's lost alleys and making of sweet bread in a brick oven, and just a odd photo here and there.
